What is AgriBazaar?

AgriBazaar is an Internet-based trading portal for buyers and sellers of agricultural products which was developed by MIMOS Berhad in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture and Agro-Based Industry (MOA). Its main purpose is to provide a one stop avenue for the producers of agriculture products to swiftly meet with their potential customers and perform the trade transactions online. What’s more, this is done without the involvement of middlemen between the transactions, thus eliminating other costs normally charged by the middlemen.

Furthermore, the whole chain of local agricultural industry will largely benefit from this advanced platform, namely the retailers, wholesalers, distributors, farmers, SMEs, exporters, importers and even logistic suppliers to embark on new possible ventures with new partners and companies in a centralized meeting place for the local agriculture industry.
